My first campaign was with my friend Ali Nofal and his shoe store. We spent ten dollars and received a flood of messages and roughly 150–200 orders from memory. That number is intentionally presented as an unverified range, not an accounting fact.

The first ad revealed the leverage

The early result showed me that digital advertising would become a large market. Arabic learning material was limited, so I studied foreign sources and practised on smaller businesses.

Early success also carried a danger: believing the platform alone created the result.

Larger budgets removed excuses

At Sahl Reach I worked across Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the UAE. When some accounts spent tens of thousands per month, campaign quality had to connect to market behaviour and commercial outcome.

The platform was the same; the offer, message and speed of decision were not.

Advertising became part of a larger job

At Stars Casablanca, Ridha Alwan and Dama, responsibility expanded into content, launches, teams, clients and reputation. The advertising report became an input, not the end of the work.

Marketing leadership means aligning people and decisions around an outcome—not only operating an ad account.

Shahd Beauty shifted me from attention buyer to growth operator

As a co-founder, ROAS stopped being enough. Inventory, margin, cash flow, delivery, service and product development all became part of the result.

That is why my role today is wider than media buying. Advertising sits inside a system connecting offer, message, sales and operations.
